11/01/08: SINNERS & SAINTS -- Playing Det Tom Wyatt!!
I'm so stoked to announce that I am officially cast in William Kaufman's new film Sinners & Saints as Detective Tom Wyatt. The film is a cop drama set amongst the mayhem that is post-Katrina New Orleans. Wyatt is head of a special task force working for the New Orleans Police Department.
I'm so excited about teaming up again with The Prodigy's Director William Kaufman and production crew including Russel White (Editor) and Mark Rutledge (Cinematographer). The film will be shot on Super 35mm and also stars Johnny Strong (Black Hawk Down, Get Carter), Costas Mandylor (Saw V, The Pledge), Tom Berenger (Training Day, Platoon), Sean Patrick Flannery (The Bookdock Saints, Powder) and Method Man.
Production starts in a month and so I'm heavily prepping for the role.
I can't thank my friends and fans enough for all of your support! You are the reason I get these opportunities. All the best and fight for what you want!!

10/13/2008: SINNERS Update etc!!
I'm so stoked about this film and can't wait to get on set in New Orleans. Working with Will again is a dream opportunity and the film has an incredible cast including Costas Mandylor, Johnny Strong and Method Man just to name a few. I'm playing one of two roles available after the final cast gets set, so check back and on IMDb for future updates. Both roles are like GREAT and like you've never seen me in before! I'm also working with my buddy Louis Mandylor (Costas' brother), producing a comedy that I'll be starring in next year. Anyway guys, that's that and I'll talk back soon.
Oh, and special thanks to Steven Shaver from Florida who set up my fan site on Facebook! Whoda thunk it!!??
8/13/2008: UnBreaking Up, STARZ and Other Updates
My film, Unbreaking Up screens this Friday in Hollywood. It was a really cool short I did a few months ago. Road To Red is about to be completed as well and The Prodigy is still kicking ass!! We just signed a deal for The Prodigy with STARZ cable network for a two year deal starting in January. I'm also still doing voice work for the Sgt. STAR character for the US Army. That's that for now and talk to you soon.
6/12/2008: The Wicked Garden and The Army
Thanks to fans and indie film makers, it looks like I'm still going to keep busy even if SAG strikes at the end of June. I slated to film Shotgun Kiss in August and For the Love of Jade in September. I also booked a voice over job, playing Sgt. STAR for an interactive Army Recruitment interactive media presentation. Take care and check back soon.
2/21/2008: Updates
The strike is over!!! Also, I just found out that a short film I did years ago is being turned into a feature which is cool because it's a funny character for once. Don't miss me in the series finale of Jericho on CBS. That's that for now.
1/18/08: This and That
It's been a while and fortunately things have been busy during the WGA strike. Although television has been shut down, I'm really looking forward to Michael Yurinko's For The Love of Jade that shoots this summer and of course Sinners and Saints by my buddy William Kaufman. Also look for me in the series finale of Jericho when the show returns in February. Anyway, that's that and more to come soon. Have a great year!!
11/21/07: GFE and The Prodigy
Well, my film, The Prodigy hit the shelves at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and the numbers have been really incredible! Not upset about that. The word of mouth advertising has been great and the film has a growing fan base. I unfortunately had to back out of a film, Eyes of the Beholder a few weeks ago, due to a schedule conflict. Such is life.
On another note, the play I'm in, Girlfriend Experience just got extended another two weeks because of the show's popularity. We've been packing the house almost every show and it's been a lot of fun. If you haven't had a chance to see it, please try and check it out. Take care and Happy Turkey Day!
10/23/07: Sinners and Saints!! It's Happening!!
William Kaufman is gearing up for his next film Sinners and Saints to be shot early next year. Based in New Orleans, it's a post Katrina cop drama with the dark and gritty feel Kaufman is known for. It's by far one of the best scripts I have ever read and I can't wait to get the cameras rolling on this project!!
9/26/07: Jericho on CBS
I had a great shoot today for the hit CBS show Jericho. It was a co-staring role and a lot of fun getting to work with those guys. A great cast and crew! I'll let everyone know as soon as I get an air date.
9/25/07: Wal-Mart and Target get The Prodigy November 6th!!
Hey Everyone! My little film that has taken off is releasing at both Target and Wal-Mart on November 6th!! It's rare that big box stores like these take small films with no name recognition and they actually rejected several titles with A-list names and requested ours!! This couldn't happen without the support and great word of mouth from all the fans!!! Thanks so much!!
9/11/07: Play Booking - Girlfriend Experience
Hey Everyone, just a quick update. I just booked the lead in the comedy stage play Girlfriend Experience. It's great for me to get back to my comedic roots. I play Dave, a romantically challenged introvert that gets coerced into internet dating. My date shows up and turns out to be a prostitute! Since I won't go through with the deed, she gets fed up and invites her other customers to my apartment. The comedy ensues! It's a funny script with a great director and incredible cast. I'll post showtimes soon. Thanks and have a great week!
8/27/07: New Agent - New Projects!
It's been a while since I've updated this area. Been swamped, but here I am. Just completed rewrites on The Wicked Garden and looking to get that out there. Will Kaufman will direct it, so you know it's gonna kill!
Some more great news, I've signed on to play Stanford in For the Love of Jade with director Michael Yurinko. He's a really great guy and an incredible writer. Other talent is being attached right now, so look for updates. It won't shoot until next year, but I'm really looking forward to it. It's another strong character study which is right up my alley and Yurinko has a great understanding of what he wants. Can't wait!
Sinners and Saints! I cannot tell you what an INCREDIBLE script this is! Will Kaufman, who I worked with on The Prodigy wrote and will direct the film. It's a strong cop drama based in post-Katrina New Orleans. I read it in the airport and by page 5, I was calling Will to beg for even a small role. That's starting to move now, so I'll keep you updated.
7/19/07: The Prodigy wins '2007 Best Thriller' and New Bookings!
WOW! What a summer! My film, The Prodigy released and is doing great! It's out-renting a lot of film with bigger names and everyone is blown away by the numbers. We just got notified that the film is being awarded the '2007 Best Thriller' at the AOF Fest in Long Beach on the 28th! I invite EVERYONE to come check it out. For info and tickets, go to www.aoffest.com
Things have been going great since The Prodigy's release. The biggest difference is my phone rings a lot more. I am currently attached to five indie features! My goal now is to mix that up with some TV and keep the momentum going. That's that for now!
6/12/07: San Antonio Screening and New Booking!
I just got back from San Antonio with Will Kaufman and several of the other cast members. We visited Ft. Sam Houston and Lackland Air Force Base. We had a great time and got to meet a lot of the people fighting to keep us free.
I also just booked the feature St. Dementia to shoot later this Summer. I'll pass on more details as they come to me.
Thanks so everyone who has supported my film, The Prodigy! The rental numbers have been huge and have demolished everyone's expectations! Thanks for all of your support!!
5/2/07: The Prodigy Released and Film Wrap (Tenebrous)
On the 29th, I was on a plane to Tennessee to wrap up a film I'm doing called Tenebrous. It was kind of a big day for me. After many years, this was the release date for my film The Prodigy. I had no idea of what to expect and didn't expect much, but just happy it was on shelves finally. I land and immediately, my phone goes crazy with 'urgent' voicemails and text messages. I call Will Kaufman (the director) and he tells me that Hollywood Video rented 800 copies in the first hour!!! I had friends and fans emailing me telling me that they went to 3-4 locations as they were rented out at many locations!! It really hit me when I went to the Movie Gallery in the small town of McMinnville, TN where we were shooting and saw my film there and every copy was rented! A very surreal experience for me.
Tenebrous wrapped for me and I'm gonna miss the cast, crew and great people I met in McMinnville, TN. I have a lot of new friends and look forward to keeping touch. Thanks to Producers Phil Melfi, Louis Mandylor and Brad Thronton for giving me a shot and Director Joel Bender for the great experience.
4/24/07: The Prodigy Screenings & Feature Booking
Wow, pilot season is closing and I just NOW start to get busy. Go figure. My film, The Prodigy releases on DVD May 29th, so I'll be traveling a lot starting mid-May to promote the film. We have several screenings in LA, NY, Texas and NJ, so the schedule is hectic.
I just got great news!! I booked a feature Tenebrous also shooting in May! I read for Joel Bender (Director) and Louis Mandylor (Producer) last week and just got the call today! I'm so stoked! We shoot in Tennessee next month. It might interfere with me being able to make it to all of The Prodigy screenings which sucks, but I've begged for these problems. Anyway, that's that! Thanks and talk at you soon!!
Oh and did I mention that The Prodigy releases here on DVD May 29th?

4/4/07: The Prodigy Release Date - May 29,2007
Hey everyone! It's been a while, but I've been super busy as well. My film, The Prodigy is releasing on May 29th at all you major video retailers. Between now and then, we will be having screenings in LA, NY and Texas, so let me know if you want an invite! I will be traveling the country doing radio shows to get the buzz rolling!
I also have two film auditions this Friday and have been busting butt to get the next draft out of my script Last Rights.
3/28/07: Last Rights
I got the notes back from the coverage and basically they want me to change the tone of the film and make it darker. That's cool, I just wanted to make sure I didn't write a "The Prodigy 2". So, I'm plugging away to get the next draft complete.
2/13/07:This and That
I've been super busy, getting ready to get super busy. Pilot season is gearing up this year and and that's an undertaking unto itself. Just got new shots done and setting up to talk with some new agents. I just completed my third script titled Last Rights. William Kaufman is going to direct and with a few minor rewrites, we should get this going this year. Anyway, that's that. I'll get back soon!
12/13/06: This and That: The Prodigy etc
We just signed a US distribution deal for The Prodigy! Finally!! We've done well in Asia and Europe over the last year, so it's nice to see it hit land here in the states. I'll announce the street date as soon as we get one more concrete.
I had a great audition yesterday for the TV show Bones on FOX. I wasn't really right for the part, I got in front of another casting director, so we'll see.
I'm also working full-time on a new feature script that William Kaufman will direct hopefully the first quarter of next year.
11/21/06: RTS and A Few Other Things
I just got back from the Regaining the Stoke (formally Primal) shoot and had a great time! We shot it up in the Alpine Mountains on the lake. I got to play a fun character and Tito let me improvise, so what more could I ask for? Mike Saad (The Sheriff) and I got to play and had a lot of fun with the scenes. My concern is that they were too funny for a dark thriller that the film becomes, but we'll see.
Also, I am collaborating with Will Kaufman (director of The Prodigy) again on a series of other projects. I am working on a feature script for him to shoot and potential TV show, if the pilot gets picked up. Meetings start in January, so we'll see. Anyway, that's that and thanks again!

3 Lefts and The Elusive TV Credits
I had to back out of the 3 Lefts audition as I had a schedule conflict with my days on Primal. My shoot days are next week and that's the week before the play opens. It happens. It sucks, but it happens. I am getting some resistance from certain casting directors since I don't have a lot of television credits. That being said, my manager and I are busting tail to get me on some more shows. Pilot season's coming, so it's time to play! Anyway, that's that, thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
10/29/06
Update: Primal and such
We just had a meeting today with Larry Leahy (Producer) and Tito Da Costa (Director) about his film Primal. My shoot dates are in about two weeks and I'm pretty stoked. It'll be up in the Alpine mountains and so a really cool experience. Also, I auditioned for an incredible play last month, 3 Lefts by Christine Bunner and didn't get it. That sucked because it's a great play, right up my frickin alley, but such is life...She frickin called me today!! She said she's re-casting and wants to take another look at me!!! I see them on Tuesday, so we'll see. Anyway, that's that and have a great week!
9/30/06
Recent Booking - Primal
Just booked the role of Duke Taylor in the feature, Primal! The film is a character drive thriller and I get to play something totally different from what I usually get called in for. I'm not sad, depressed or killing anyone in this one! After reading the script and seeing Da Costa's reel, I all but begged for an audition. My shoot days are next month and I'll let you know how it goes!

The Prodigy voted "Best of the Fest" Edinburgh IFF!
My film, The Prodigy screened to two packed audiences and was voted "Best of the Fest" at the Edinburgh International Film Festival! It was slated for a 3rd screening on the festival's closing day! Since the announcement, it looks like we'll get a decent domestic deal soon!
